Blog for students and teachers participating in a project to create virutal tours of battlefields managed by Nez Perce National Historical Park

Join us as we begin a series of 4 teacher/student workshops to build an on-line web based virtual tour of background of and 3 main battles of the Nez Perce War of 1877. We’ll be starting in Joseph, Oregon June 20.
Teachers will work on creating curriculum while the students will be our social media face and produce video and photos. The project will finish, as did the war in northern Montana. You’re welcome to follow us on the trail.
Hello, my name is Kristen Tiede and I recently graduated from Highland High School in Craigmont, Idaho. I will be attending the University of Idaho this fall with a major in anthropology. I chose to participate in this project because of my interest in Native American cultures, especially the Nez Perce and the War of 1877.
