This afternoon we explored the luscious wilderness around Wallowa Lake.  First, we visited Old Chief Joseph’s grave site.  We took more than 244 photos and videos today of Wallowa Lake and the surrounding areas and went on a breathtaking hike on the moraine.

My name is Taylor Fritz. I am 16 years old, and I am from La Grande, Oregon. I came here to learn more about the Nez Perce tribe and their culture.

 

My name is Mack Foggia,  I was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1997, making me 13.  I heard that we could work with computers and cameras in this class and we can have fun.

 

My name is Hayden Fritz. I am from La Grande, Oregon, I’m 14 years old. I came to this class to learn more about the Nez Perce Tribe and their way of life.

 

My name is Madison Lindsey. I was born and raised in Wallowa County.  I came to do this workshop to learn about about the culture of the Nez Perce and other Native American tribes.

 

My name is Levi Fine and I’m from Wallowa Oregon. I enjoy playing guitar and singing. I decided to learn and participate in this activity because I like to learn about history that not everybody gets to appreciate. Also it gives me a a chance to learn about photography.
