Big Hole National Battlefield is the third workshop for the park’s virtual
tour. Curriculum on the battle has been created by a wonderful group of
teachers and another student filmed and produced movie was produced.
Given the short time frame, 2 days to film and 2 more to put together a
movie, the students always produce an amazing piece.
Bear Paw battlefield is featured in the last of the student films for the
virtual tour of the Nez Perce War of 1877. Stephanie and Logan worked
around filming at a very windy site by recording the audio they needed
during a separate indoor session. Logan is a recent graduate of Havre, MT
high school and will attend University in Missoula, MT this Fall.
Stephanie will be a senior at Havre, Mt high school.
Hey, my name is Kaydee. This is my second year working at the Battlefield. This video project that we did was a great learning experience in that I have never made a video before!! For the amount of time we had I believe we did an excelent job in using our time and resources to finish a video in two days.
Hi, I’m Chance, and I work for the Youth Conservation Corps summer program. Kaydee and I worked on making a short movie tour of the Big Hole Battlefield. It was fun taking the videos and photos. But the video editing wasn’t easy at all. Overall I just hope we did a good job and everything, thanks.
Kristen, a recent graduate of Highland High School in Craigmont, ID and
CJ, a student of Clarkston High School in Clarkston, WA are the ‘movie makers’ for the third teacher/student workshop. Being part of this project has been exciting, frustrating, and and of course a learning project.
As the teacher and student workshops continue across the trail of the Nez
Perce War of 1877 you’ll find Kristen and CJ have completed the virtual
tour of the White Bird Battle. Join them as you watch their movie and look
for the curriculum on Nez Perce National Historical Park’s and Teaching
with Historical Places web sites in the near future.
CJ & Kristen are making a video about the Nez PerceWar of 1877. A lot of work but it will be worth the wait…
This is a movie about the Nez Perce mad by Levi Fine Madison Lindsey, Taylor Fritz, Mack Foggia, and Hayden Fritz. We had fun making the film and taking the photos and videos. This is what we made after three days of shooting DV and digital photographs. We spent our final day editing, cutting, adding music, and making it perfect. Then showed it to the rest of the staff here in Enterprise, they loved it and we hope you enjoy it too.
We want to thank Travis for helping us make this documentary and giving us great tips for our future photography careers.
